As Amazon Prime Day approaches, I wanted to put together a post with my favorite Amazon products for you! Everything I have linked below with the exception of a couple beauty accessories, we have personally purchased for ourselves or our home. I would never recommend something to y’all that I haven’t tried personally. Full disclosure: I do receive a small commission on products purchased through my links. I highly encourage you to take advantage of the prime deals this year, especially all things ALEXA! We are obsessed with Alexa in our house and have some kind of Alexa device in every room of our house. I also highly recommend a video…

Toes in the Water!
Over the 4th of July, we had the opportunity to join my maternal birth family on a trip to Hilton Head, SC. There were 27 of us which made for an incredibly fun week! That being said, traveling anywhere with toddlers is tough. I planned for months so that our experience, from the 11 hour road trip to full days at the beach, was as easy as possible! Aside from the obvious (clothes, swimsuits, towels, etc.), here is my shoppable top 10 list items that helped make our trip successful! All of these items were purchased by us, however I do receive a small commission if you shop from my…

Wardrobe Basics
When it comes to my style, you’re not going to find much high fashion. As a stay-at-home mama, my style is EXTREMELY basic and extremely casual! I love to stock up on a ton of neutrals and basics that can be mixed and matched to create slightly different looks. One of my favorite places to shop since having kids has surprisingly been American Eagle. I absolutely LOVE their jeggings and have them in nearly every single style and color. They have just enough stretch to be forgiving on my mom belly, but also enough form to really feel like denim and not leggings. I never thought as a grown woman…

Moving to the Burbs
We purchased our first home in the 12 South area of Nashville in 2014. If you are at all familiar with Nashville, this is now one of the hottest areas in town close to Belmont & Vanderbilt and lots of shopping & restaurants. It was an amazingly walkable location and provided us with beautiful memories walking to the park & some lovely al fresco meals. As the area started becoming increasingly popular, our home value increased and we decided to take advantage of it and move to the burbs. Brody was going to school in Brentwood, TN, so we sold our home and moved to a great house in a…

Becoming a Mama
I’m not even sure that I can find the appropriate words to describe the past 3 days of my life. It has all been quite a whirlwind and I am still in complete awe over this truly miraculous experience and this amazing gift from God that I have been given. Let me start from the beginning and share with you my labor story! On Monday night of the 26th (Memorial Day), Jordan came home from work and he and my mom and I had decided to grill out for dinner. My mom had been in town since the previous Tuesday to help me out and to be there with me in…

Maternity Style
When it came to my maternity style, comfort was ALWAYS number 1. I was definitely not the mama rockin’ heels & maternity spanx under tight fitting dresses. (I’m looking at you Kim K.) I also was not on board with spending a ton of money on clothes that I could only wear for those 9 months. (Let’s be honest, it wasn’t even 9 months, because dressing the bump doesn’t happen immediately!) I think it’s important to invest in a few key pieces that you will wear all the time. For me, that was jeans & bras to support my growing girls. Aside from that, I was all about shopping things…

I’m Back!
If you have followed me for a while, you may remember that I started a blog when Jordan and I were first engaged. I documented our wedding planning process, first home buying experience, and first pregnancy. I continued for Brody’s first year and then life happened. We were so busy selling our house and buying a second home, getting pregnant again, selling our second home, relocating to Ohio, buying ANOTHER home, and having baby girl that my blog got away from me. My domain ended up expiring and was purchased by someone else. I’ve been waiting impatiently for the day I could buy it back and THE DAY HAS COME!…
