If you’re looking for some ideas for holiday gifts for teachers, employees, etc. and money/gift cards isn’t in the cards. Here is an inexpensive idea to show them you care without breaking the bank. I would LOVE to spoil the entire staff with money or gift cards, but with there being 20 faculty members who have all done so much to make this crazy school year possible for the kids, that’s not realistic financially. I love to give physical gifts but also try to include something they actually can enjoy. I don’t think you can give a better gift than experiences and we used this idea for my husband’s staff…

Living With An Unwanted Roommate… Anxiety
If I had to best describe what it’s like living with anxiety, I would say it’s like living with an unpredictable roommate that you didn’t get to choose. They showed up one day, seemingly out of nowhere and have been a burden ever since. They never give you notice about when they’re coming and going, they know exactly what to do and say to get under your skin, they bring out the worst in you and strain your relationships with friends, family, and loved ones. None of your friends really want to hang out with your new roommate, and if we’re being honest, your roommate doesn’t want to socialize much…

Target Fall Favs for the Fam!
I am a sucker for Target, but aren’t we all? This year Target is killing it with the fall fashion, especially for toddlers! I walked through yesterday and wanted to buy it all, so I came home, got some self control, and put together some lists of my absolute favorites. If you click on the photos below, they will take you directly to the product! Some of these are our tried and true favs (like the toddler boy jeans with an ELASTIC waistband) and some are just items that are in my shopping cart. Looks like the hot accent this year is LEOPARD and I’m here for it! What’s your…

Toes in the Water!
Over the 4th of July, we had the opportunity to join my maternal birth family on a trip to Hilton Head, SC. There were 27 of us which made for an incredibly fun week! That being said, traveling anywhere with toddlers is tough. I planned for months so that our experience, from the 11 hour road trip to full days at the beach, was as easy as possible! Aside from the obvious (clothes, swimsuits, towels, etc.), here is my shoppable top 10 list items that helped make our trip successful! All of these items were purchased by us, however I do receive a small commission if you shop from my…

Becoming a Mama
I’m not even sure that I can find the appropriate words to describe the past 3 days of my life. It has all been quite a whirlwind and I am still in complete awe over this truly miraculous experience and this amazing gift from God that I have been given. Let me start from the beginning and share with you my labor story! On Monday night of the 26th (Memorial Day), Jordan came home from work and he and my mom and I had decided to grill out for dinner. My mom had been in town since the previous Tuesday to help me out and to be there with me in…

I’m Back!
If you have followed me for a while, you may remember that I started a blog when Jordan and I were first engaged. I documented our wedding planning process, first home buying experience, and first pregnancy. I continued for Brody’s first year and then life happened. We were so busy selling our house and buying a second home, getting pregnant again, selling our second home, relocating to Ohio, buying ANOTHER home, and having baby girl that my blog got away from me. My domain ended up expiring and was purchased by someone else. I’ve been waiting impatiently for the day I could buy it back and THE DAY HAS COME!…
